Stillness is visible; what moves remains invisible.

Nails pierce a photograph. Beneath it, a single candle burns. The faint flame makes the shadow cast on the wall tremble continuously. The nails never move. The air itself cannot be seen. Yet the shadow is never still. The candle does not make the air visible; it moves air perceptible through the trembling shadow.

Keep Distance begins with this simple phenomenon, reflecting on forces that cannot be directly seen yet continue to act upon the body and consciousness. The soundscape is drawn from everyday experience: a drawer slammed shut, a door abruptly closed, nails repeatedly falling into a metal container. Through repetition and accumulation, tension gradually emerges—unease, discomfort, or perhaps even hypnosis.
