This project was created between 2022 to 2024. In 2023, I left Beijing—its familiar life and friends—to embark on a journey of solitary living. In this nomadic existence, I encountered both freedom and hope, yet loneliness often accompanied me. Although I met new people, these encounters were fleeting, rarely evolving into deeper connections.
During my four years in Beijing, I was surrounded by like-minded friends who showed me the profound beauty of friendship. Despite my attempts to avoid forming new bonds, I found that I could not suppress the longing for the friends I had left behind. This yearning brings me to tears, for I deeply miss them.
